Limited-edition pieces, handmade in steel and made to live with their musician.
Pieces released in 2026. Each guitar carries its number, material and own story.
Oxyde Steel Guitars began with a simple intuition: what if steel, a material I have shaped for years, could sing too?
My name is Damien. Trained as a boilermaker, I spent years working metal — first with the discipline of the hand, then through 3D modelling and precision tools. A long-time guitarist, I eventually wanted to bring these two worlds together.
After months of research, drawings and prototypes, the first Oxyde guitar was born in June 2025. In 2026, the workshop became Oxyde Steel Guitars: a house dedicated to the craft of metal applied to musical instruments. Each piece is designed, cut, welded, oxidised and set up in my workshop near Bordeaux. No two are alike; each carries the mark of its material and its maker.
The Founding Series brings together the first Oxyde Steel Guitars Class B pieces: set up, playable instruments ready to join a musician.
Each guitar pairs a steel body designed and built in the workshop with pre-owned necks, pickups, tuners and hardware, selected and checked. Their history is part of the piece — visible and openly acknowledged before any reservation.
The Founding Series also contributes to funding the workshop and its next steps. By choosing one of these pieces, you acquire a part of Oxyde Steel Guitars' early story: a first edition of the brand, with a singularity that may appeal to collectors and lutherie enthusiasts.

Every model begins as a drawing and a 3D model before taking shape in steel.
The steel is cut following the template of the chosen model.
Every part is welded and shaped by hand.
The guitar is sanded, set up, and ready to live.
We chose steel where others stay with wood: a raw, demanding material that imposes its own character. It hides nothing, it ages in its own way, and every mark it carries becomes a signature rather than a flaw.
Against the coldness of steel, the wood of the neck brings the warmth playing needs. Each species is chosen for its feel, stability and response under the fingers, in deliberate contrast with the metal body.
Pickups designed to reveal steel's particular tone rather than mask it. Hand wiring, carefully chosen components, for a sound true to the instrument and never standardized.
No two guitars come out identical. Oxidation is guided, never fully controlled: in the end, it is what signs the uniqueness of every piece that leaves the workshop.
